About the Author
Emilio Robles is a Professional Electrical Engineer, Certified Data Processor, A+ and Network+ Certified, who worked with computers for over 30 years. In 1984 Mr. Robles was a typical type A person, highly driven, successful and… impatient. At age 42, in the pinnacle of his career, he suffered a heart attack that transformed his life physically, mentally and spiritually.
As a result he changed his bearings and moved from the city of San Juan to the mountains, close to a rain forest reserve where he rebuilt an old cabin of a house. He became certified in Yoga with the International Teachers Association, also in Pilates, Precision Cycling, Resist-A-Ball, Aqua, and Group Exercise (AFAA). He is now a C.H.E.K. Institute Exercise Coach and obtained a license from the Department of Education to teach Basic Anatomy and Physiology for the Institute of Massage and Therapeutic Healing in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. He also teaches Yoga and other holistic exercise disciplines at the Golden Door Spa at El Conquistador Hotel in Fajardo and lives happily in his rainforest house, with his Type B wife, and two highly photogenic dogs.
His book "Taming the Monkeys of The Mind or Meditation for The Type A" is a collection of meditation techniques that will assist you in "avoiding future suffering" by living a healthier and happier life.
